Kelly J. Niemeyer Hannon

Managing Partner

After years defending large employers and insurers, Kelly has gone back to her roots – representing real people. Kelly’s background is uniquely suited to represent workers in employment disputes.

As a child Kelly experienced the difficulties of having a parent who sustained multiple severe on-the-job injuries. This experience coupled with practicing for 17 years representing insurers and employers gave Kelly an arsenal of insight and tactics to assist those in need.

Kelly graduated from the University of Portland where she earned degrees in Political Science and Communications. She attended law school at Willamette University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Dispute Resolution.

Kelly is passionate about victims’ rights. In her early years she worked with domestic violence survivors. Later, through her own experiences, Kelly came to appreciate the disproportionate power dynamic that persistently places women in a less than equal position in the workplace. Kelly is passionate about representing all people who have been subjected to harassment or abusive behavior grown out of systemic dysfunction.

Kelly works to teach her three children that bullies are not to be tolerated and ignoring bad behavior is akin to complacency.

As a partner at her prior “big firm” job Kelly co-chaired the firm’s first Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Kelly recognizes the need for employers to set an example by proactively learning about social issues impacting our community which, in turn, helps them to understand their employees and community better.

Kelly works with her husband, Dave, as Managing Partner of Crispin Hannon, LLC. She offers zealous advocacy for her clients by offering experience, insight and common sense as the backbone of her practice.
