Dave M. Hannon

Managing Partner

As a career prosecutor for over 17 years, Dave never thought he would leave for the civil sector. However, when presented with the opportunity to practice law with his wife, and still represent victims in need of help, he could not say no. Dave is a fierce proponent for victims’ rights and helping those in need of strong advocacy.

As a Senior Deputy District Attorney Dave supervised multiple units over the years including Gangs and Domestic violence. He has handled and prosecuted hundreds of cases and taken to trial gang shootings, robberies, burglaries, rapes, assaults, and murders.

Dave is uniquely suited to the courtroom having litigated many notable cases to successful prosecution. Few attorneys on the civil side in the Northwest can offer this level of litigation experience. Even when a client prefers alternative means of resolution over courtroom action, Dave is a skilled negotiator.

Dave graduated from the University of Portland where he earned a degree in Political Science. He attended law school at Willamette University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor and Certificate in Dispute Resolution.

Dave is a big believer in community outreach to effect positive change. Over the years Dave has actively involved himself in outreach to communities that have consistently been denied access to justice. Through civil work Dave continues to be an advocate to those historically denied fundamental fairness in their everyday life.

Dave’s wife and three children lovingly tolerate his obsessive fanaticism over all things Bay Area Sports related including the 49ers, Oakland Athletic’s, Warriors, and Sharks. He can tell you the dialogue almost line-by-line of every Star Wars movie, except for any scene involving Jar Jar Binks.

Dave serves as Managing Partner of Crispin Hannon, LLC. Dave is a firm believer in the courtroom, the fight is almost as important as the result. He is proud to bring his tenacity as a prosecutor to those in need of restorative justice in the civil arena.
